What did your high school principal look like?

This is how I looked at one point in my career. I'll tell you about the Mohawk haircut later. It's a true story about students that others didn't believe in -- students who ended up achieving at a very high level.

I can relate to those students because growing up I wasn't in the Bluebirds reading group. Or the Robins. I was in the Buzzards.

Okay, maybe they didn't call it the Buzzards, but that's how we felt. It was the reading group for slow learners. In fact, I was probably learning disabled before there was such a label.

And yet, I went on to:
  • graduate second in my high school class,
  • be voted “Most Likely To Succeed” by my classmates,
  • earn a college degree in business administration,
  • earn a doctorate from a prestigious American university,
  • be invited to The White House twice with several of my students,
  • and become a successful teacher, principal, and superintendent.
My mission -

You'll often hear educators say that all children can learn. Unfortunately, not all of them really believe it.

My mission is simple. I want to help all children achieve -- one child at a time. This means helping you develop your children's study skills. It also means providing homework help and tips to make good grades.

I started out in the banking industry. When I entered the field of education, I was very focused on learning what actually works for kids -- and how the education system operates behind the scenes.

If your children are already doing well in school, it's time to go from good to great. If your children are struggling, it's time to turn that situation around. With my free tips and insider secrets, you'll help your children succeed in school and in life.
